Things you should know about Type Assets and Component Assets

• Each Model / Catalogue Number is considered a Type Asset that will require a Type Reference
• Variants of an item such as size or rating will inevitably have a different Model / Catalogue Number for the purposes of purchasing and will therefore be its own Type
• Type references cannot be repeated across different Model / Catalogue Numbers i.e. 1 Unique Type Reference per Model / Catalogue Number
• Component Assets itemise every instance of a Type Asset
• Each Component Asset Reference must be unique and ideally be an extension of the Type Reference, although not mandatory
