HOW TO REPLACE FILES - FILE BLOCKS

To replace files you will need to UNLINK the current file from the File Block.

Once in the editor there are two options as show below either right Clicking on the rows or using the Tools button at the bottom of the modal as  shown below.

Either of these tools will enable files to be unlinked.

Replacement Files can now be uploaded using the upload tools as detailed here.

Any existing metadata will be retained, however you will usually need to update the Status, Revision and Issue columns.

Note that the original files will be retained in the system as an archive and these can be viewed here.
